Coaches/Players/Managers,

You are receiving this email as your team is registered for the event this weekend in Baytown, Texas.



Below are details pertaining to the event for this weekend.



Tournament Entry -

$350 umpire fees PAP $15/$20 for All other divisions



If not paying online, we can accept the following forms of payment.



Cash

Cash App - $TEXASUSSSA

Venmo - @TEXASUSSSA

Checks Payable to 3MT SPORTS

Credit Card - Will have an additional 5% transaction fee applied.

Balls will be available at the ballpark if you need to purchase any.  $6 each.

If paying in advance prior to the event, please indicate team name in the notes of the transaction so we can annotate it accordingly.



Rosters-


All teams are required to have 100% online rosters.  If your player is not on the roster online, then your player is not eligible to play.


Get with your respective State Directors for roster assistance if you have issues.


Rosters will be locked Thursday at 5pm.

If you must make last minute changes before your first game only, you can do so only when you check in. Player will need ID card to do so.



Do not allow your players to step on the field unless you have seen your player appear on your online roster.  This is your responsibility as a coach.



Once your team has started your first game, we will not allow for any additional roster adjustments for you.  Please plan accordingly.



All players that are not APPROVED/ELIGIBLE on the online roster will have to check in and present their ID card to be allowed to sign player waiver for eligibility to play.



Balls-

Men will be using Any USSSA stamped Worth Gold Dot Classic M ONLY.



We will have plenty on site if needed.  $6 each ball.



Bats -



All bats must be USSSA 240 stamped and approved.  No bats on the banned list will be allowed.

Players must ensure that they know what they are swinging.  All bats that are put in play, are subject to random bat testing at any point during your games.





Protests-



$100 Protest Fee, must be CASH only.

(Player Protest Only)



All player protests must be completed before the end of the 3rd inning or at point of entry.

IF PROTESTED, ALL PLAYERS MUST BE ABLE TO PHYSICALLY PRESENT A VALID GOVT ID CARD.  NO EXCEPTIONS

$100 Bat Protest Fee, must be CASH only.  Any bat being used during the game can be protested at any time.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, IF PROTESTED, AND TEAM IS CAUGHT CHEATING.  PER RULE BOOK YOUR TEAM CAN BE DISQUALIFIED FROM EVENT ENTIRELY.

Run Rule -

20/15/10

Run Spots -

3 run spot per class difference on combined brackets only.  Runs will be divided evenly amongst the first three innings.



Game Time -

50 Minute games


Extra Innings -


Will be 1 pitch with no runners and no outs.


2 Minute Rule-


This rule is applied simply to avoid any issues towards the end of the game.

Once we reach the final two minutes of the game.  The clock will stop if the winning team is attempting to run out the clock.


Officials are instructed to keep the pace of the game from start to finish.   


Homeruns -

Men C - 5 and out
Men E - 1 and IEO

All teams are required to ensure that their players are ready to play as early as 30 minutes before your scheduled game time.  If the game scheduled before yours is completed ahead of schedule, we will start. If your team is not ready, we can issue a forfeit.

This will help ensure that the event is running on time for everyone all around. Please plan accordingly should your team/players leave the ballpark.
