Event Start & End Date: October 26 - 29, 2023 (Schedule will be release 10 days prior)

Weather Updates: Nothing to report.

Entry & Roster Deadline: Entry deadline will be October 15, 2023 or until we sell out the event. For the sake of establishing projected starts for every division for travel planning, October 1, 2023 will be the initial online roster deadline. October 15, 2023, will be the roster change deadline. Rosters will be locked morning of October 16, 2023, so State Directors must assist you with your roster adds up to end of day October 22, 2023 (72 hours prior to start of event). 

Emergency Hardship adds will only be allowed if a team drops to 9 or less players morning of the event. We will allow adds up to a total of 11 players prior to your first game. Emergency adds must be reviewed and approved. Roster changes morning of the event will not be allowed, so please confirm player commitment early. The HARD deadline for emergency roster changes is 24 hours prior to the start of the event.

Entry Fee: $675. All entry fees must be paid online at http://www.usssa.com/slowpitch/event_home/?eventID=378078&divisionID=null no later than October 15, 2022. If a team entered without paying the entry fee, they can log into their MANAGER account @ usssa.com/login and pay for the event from their dashboard cart. Venues: Big League Dreams (Mansfield), The Parks at Texas Star (Euless), Waxahachie Sports Complex (Waxahachie).

ALL Major Plus, Major, & Women's teams will play at The Parks at Texas Star (Euless) and have Big League Dreams (Mansfield) as an overflow.

ALL AAA teams will play at Big League Dreams (Mansfield) and have Waxahachie Sports Complex (Waxahachie) as an overflow.

Start Time: Projected start times for each AGE GROUP/DIVISION will be released on October 1, 2023. 

AAA will likely start Thursday evening as of today. If anything changes, we will make an announcement by Oct 1, 2023.

MAJOR PLUS & MAJOR will likely start Friday morning as of today. If anything changes, we will make an announcement by Oct 1, 2023.

WOMEN'S will likely start Saturday morning as of today. If anything changes, we will make an announcement by Oct 1, 2023.

Format: Two seeding games, then all teams are seeded into a double-elimination play-off bracket.

Game Time: This is a World event so scheduled FIRST game time is forfeit time. No grace period. Please help us stay on-time. After a team's first game, teams must be at the field ready to play 30 minutes prior to the team's scheduled start time. If a team is not ready to play as early as 30 minutes prior to scheduled start time after the first game, the team will forfeit the game. The only exception is if a team is playing back-to-back games and coming from another field.

Rosters: Rosters must be entered ONLINE and players participating in the event must be listed as ELIGIBLE on the online roster. The system will require players to exist in the player database before a manager can add them. If the system gives you an error message "NO PLAYER CAN BE ADDED BY A MANAGER THAT CURRENTLY DOES NOT EXIST IN THE DATABASE. TO HAVE THIS PLAYER ADDED PLEASE CONTACT YOUR STATE DIRECTOR", please contact your State Director to assist you with adding new players to the database. Player Protests: You may protest the identity of a player to verify whether they are listed on the online roster as ELIGIBLE/PENDING to a site Director. We will not stop the game. Protest fee per player is $100 cash. If the protest is valid, the protestor will get their money back and the illegal team will be DQ'd. During a player protest we will also search for multiple player profiles. The profile with the highest PRV will be considered the player rating and will be taken into consideration during the player protest. If there is a player whom we made a rating exception for due to the rating coming as a manager/coach, the team submitting the protest will be refunded the protest fee. Please make sure the roster is 100% on point no later than October 22, 2023. I can assist teams that can't find any help within their State.

Team Check In: Manager & Players must check-in at the field where they play ONE HOUR prior to their first game. Players must show a valid Driver's License or ID during check-in and for any player protests. We will be handing players a wristband. Each team will be handed FOUR game balls and managers will be asked to review their official roster. If any players are missing, it must be reviewed/approved before the first game. Any team that fails to check in will lose the opportunity to validate the official roster and will put their team at risk if a protest occurs. We will not add new players morning of the start of the event or during the event.

Managers Meeting: Manager Meeting will be scheduled for October 24, 2023 via ZOOM. Meeting invite will be sent out one week prior to managers only.

Gate Fee: $10.00 per person per day at Big League Dreams (Mansfield). Fee for The Parks at Texas Star (Euless) is TBA.

Coolers Allowed at BLD: Coolers full of water, fruit, and cooling towels will be allowed. Any other items will not be allowed. Park staff will inspect coolers coming into the park and randomly inside the park. Please do not sneak items into the park. Violators will be ejected from the park for the entire event.

Bats:  Age Groups 40+ and Above may use any bat Stamped 1.21 BPF Senior and/or Senior Softball. It does not have to be USSSA stamped until they are available. However, it must be from a USSSA licensed manufacturer. May also use the 1.20 USSSA Stamped bats. The 35 Age Group teams ONLY will be required to use the USSSA 220 or 240 Stamped bats including players older the 40 years old on a 35 Age Group roster.

Balls: Approved balls are the DUDLEY THUNDER ADVANCED COMPOSITE 44/375 USSSA SENIOR SOFTBALL STAMPED SOFTBALLS & BADEN FIRE SENIOR SOFTBALLS. We will have DUDLEY THUNDER ADVANCED balls for sale $80 dozen. Teams will receive 4 balls when team checks-in.

Pitching Screen: Pitching screens will not be provided. Teams must furnish their own pitching screen if they opt to use one per the rulebook. Pitching screen must be a 7ft x 4ft I-SCREEN.

Live Streaming: TBA. We will announce details regarding games being live streamed for friends and family back home.
